Original Artwork - The heart of a woman - By Sharon Robbie (Trindall)

This piece is a very special one for me, it celebrates women and all that they are. The circles represent the center of trees, to reflect the woman’s heart. To me, that is ever-growing, centered, protective and strong. Around the trees are patterns of weaving to show the tireless work, love, and effort woman did and still do, to provide functional tools for their families. I chose colours to reflect both the softness and strength of a woman and have painted white waratahs around the circles to show the purity and beauty of a woman’s heart.
